EntangledGetWickedBlogHop

Hi everyone!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Trick or treats are at the bottom of the blog…

If we haven’t met before, I write dark paranormal romances. I have two different series with Entangled, the Moon Series and the Night Series… And Halloween is my favorite time of year!

Every year, I share a photographic tour of my Haunted Porch, but this year, I’m taking it a step further… A spooky video tour!!! *GASP* (But if you know me, you know it’s actually pretty dorky, but still…)

But before the tour, here are some pics from the season!

So without any further ado… Welcome to this year’s Haunted Porch!!!

Thanks for visiting! Here’s your TRICK!!!

Okay so it’s not a trick, but it’s a pitch for my book so…. 😀

My latest release is HARVEST MOON! I hope you’ll check it out!

Some wolves were never meant for a mate…

Dr. Jason Ayers unleashes all of his rage and his frustration through fists and brute force in an underground boxing ring. The werewolf may be the pack’s doctor, but he can’t even heal his coma-stricken father after the Nero Organization’s attack stopped his heart. And as his Pack brothers settle down around him, he still refuses to believe in the fairy tale notion that every wolf has a true mate…

In hiding and on the run, nurse Kilani Akamu is a loose end that Nero is desperate to tie up. She can’t afford to be attracted to a doctor-especially one as unexpectedly hot and complex as Jason. Yet the sexual sparks arcing between them are undeniable…and Kilani’s precognitive senses warn her that temptation is inevitable.

All it takes is one touch to send Jason’s wolf howling. But even if he could protect her from Nero, he can’t protect her from himself…

Okay, I think it’s time to enter to win some TREATS, right??? 😀

My favorite Halloween memory is when my little girl was 3 and she was the Fairy Godmother and went trick-or-treating with her grandfather and me. Her grandfather even dressed up as Doctor Strange.. That is one of my favorite memories.

My favorite Halloween memory is when I was a kid going trick or treating with my best friend, and both of our moms.

My favorite memory of Halloween is the year my sisters and I got all dressed up and went trick or treating with our kids. We got more attention than our kids! That was the last time all of us were in the same state, so it was extra special.
    Thanks for the chance.

When my oldest was about 4 years old, I took her around to just a few houses in the neighborhood. At the second house, I noticed that when she spoke, she sounded funny. Upon inspection, I found a snickers she’d snuck stuck firmly to the roof of her mouth.

My favorite Halloween memory is the first one I spent with my husband. We were going to hand out candy, but neither of us had done it before. We didn’t know we were supposed to put some decorations out so kids knew to stop at our house. So we sat there with a giant bowl of candy, waiting for trick – or -treaters…but none came. So instead we ate way way too much candy and watched semi-scary movies. It was a wonderful date 🙂

The best was the boys all going out as Batman villains with the (at the time) baby in the Batstroller as Batman. It was great.

I always enjoyed taking my children trick or treating when they were young. Now I stay home and give out the treats to my great grandchildren and other children dressed in their cute costumes.

We don’t celebrate it much here but it would be fun if everything was hand made 🙂

I love dressing my girls up for trick-or-treating. Halloween is a fun time of year. Except having to paint my husband. A few years ago he was DJ Lance (and he ia a white boy), then a Smurf, last year he was Peanut from Jeff Dunham’s puppets, and this year he wants to be Hellboy. I think he has a fetish of being painted.

    1. Lisa Kessler November 3, 2015 at 1:46 pm

LOL I think you’re probably right! 😀 That’s a lot of husband painting! LOL 😀
