In between promoting Forgotten Treasures and waiting on edits for Night Demon, I’ve been writing the Night Series novella, Night Thief. It’s been really fun to write!

 

Night Thief is a prequel to Night Walker.  It takes place in Paris in 1840. Kane Bordeaux, one of the original Night Walkers, has been living in France for 800 years, but his immortal life will never be the same after his gold pocket watch is stolen by a notorious thief, Le Voleur D’or. (The Golden Thief) She’s a clever, blond, beautiful mademoiselle who charms her wealthy nobleman victims so most of them never realize they’ve been robbed.

 

But he is more than she ever bargained for, and she is a mystery Kane intends to solve…

 

She met his gaze. The candlelight flickered and sparkled in the clear blue sea of her eyes. “Perhaps you were not charmed enough, Monsieur Bordeaux.”

“Au contraire, you intrigued me until I was nearly run down by a coach as I rushed to find you.”

She raised a coy brow. “You do cherish that watch.”

He bent closer to her, until his lips nearly brushed hers. “It was not the watch that I was after.”
